APC Will Not Fail Cross River People –Owan-Enoh

As the All Progressives’ Congress (APC) campaigns to the southern senatorial districts of Cross River State rounded off, the electorate has been reassured that a government led by the party in the state would not fail them if voted into power.

The gubernatorial candidate of the party, Senator Owan-Enoh, gave this assurance in Akpabuyo and Odukpani Local Government Area of the state.

Addressing a crowd after receiving traditional blessings from the chiefs and paramount ruler of Akpabuyo, Owan-Enoh expressed satisfaction that APC has been accepted in the local government area.

According to him, “The campaign team and I are overwhelmed with the reception you have accorded us. You were already here waiting for us to arrive the venue of the rally. This show maturity and acceptance for the needed change”.

He added, “Now that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has failed Cross Riverians, we have option than to vote it out. The incumbent governor has killed virtually all the good things that Calabar, Cross River State had been known for.”

“The Calabar we know is no longer the cleanest town in the country today due to bad government led by someone who has shown lack of experience in governance”.

He regretted that development foundations, which former governors Donald Duke and Liyel Imoke had laid in the state have all been destroyed n three and a half years in office of Governor Ben Ayade.

Owan-Enoh said, “There is plenty of work to be done in Cross River and Ayade does not know how to do the work. We are poised to put things back on track in our state that is why we have our slogan tagged, Better Days are possible again.”

The APC gubernatorial candidate said if voted into power, his administration shall embark on local government tours to meet with the people and get first-hand knowledge of their immediate needs with a view to addressing them.

He declared, “We need to correct the damage Ayade has done in the state. Within the first six months of our administration, we will ensure that local government elections is conducted in the state.”

Earlier, Owan-Enoh had assured the people of Odukpani that his administration shall do everything humanly possible to link Ukwa people with access road in his first 100 days in office.
