Shortage of ballot papers in Ibarapa
In Ibarapa East Local Government, Eruwa, shortage of ballot papers were reported in Ward 4 Unit 13 as many polling stations in the town witnessed large turnout of voters.
No INEC official gave any explanation for the shortage but some observers believed it was an attempt to undermine the process.
Over the years, Ibarapa has been a stronghold of the PDP and all attempts by the APC and other parties to make inroads into the areas have been futile.
