GOMBE – A re-elected member in the Gombe State House of Assembly representing Billiri East State Constituency, Mr. Rambi Ayala has called on authorities to demarcate common boundaries in some communities in Gombe South senatorial zone to forestall reoccurring breakdown of law and order, especially as the farming season sets in.

The member bared his mind during a chart with correspondents where he said his personal opinion to the re-occurring clash over farmland in some communities in southern Gombe that has attracted great concern was for Government to demarcate these boundaries.

According to him, “If the crises come up as a result of the lack of demarcation of the boundary, I expect the Government to revisit this issue and carry everybody on board. Unless there is superior reasoning, but my position is that if it is boundary is what is causing the problem, then there should be boundary demarcation.

He described the situation which occurs annually as a sad commentary saying, “the best I could do was from a legislative point of view where I raised motions and suggestions on the best way out of the situation”.
